Terms of Service
Last updated: 6 March 2026
1. About GetVooma
GetVooma ("we", "us", "our") is an online marketplace that connects vehicle owners ("users") with automotive service providers ("garages") in South Africa. GetVooma facilitates the discovery, quoting, and booking of vehicle services but does not itself provide any automotive repair or maintenance services.
2. User Accounts
To use certain features of GetVooma you must register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account details up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or are inactive for an extended period.
3. Bookings & Quotes
GetVooma enables users to request quotes from garages and to book services based on those quotes. Any agreement for the provision of vehicle services is entered into directly between the user and the garage. GetVooma is not a party to that contract and bears no responsibility for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any services performed by a garage.
Garages set their own prices and availability. While we take reasonable steps to ensure the accuracy of information displayed on the platform, we do not guarantee that quotes or availability shown are error-free.
4. Payments
Users pay garages directly for vehicle services rendered. GetVooma does not process payments between users and garages. GetVooma charges garages a commission on bookings completed through the platform, as set out in separate agreements between GetVooma and each garage.
5. Limitation of Liability
GetVooma acts solely as an intermediary marketplace. To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, GetVooma shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to:
- The quality or safety of services provided by any garage
- Any dispute between a user and a garage
- Loss of data, revenue, or profits related to use of the platform
- Interruptions or errors in the availability of the platform
6. Intellectual Property
All content, trademarks, logos, and software that form part of the GetVooma platform are owned by or licensed to GetVooma and are protected by South African and international intellectual property laws. Users retain ownership of any content they submit to the platform (such as reviews and vehicle information) but grant GetVooma a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that content in connection with operating the platform.
7. Dispute Resolution
Disputes regarding vehicle services should be resolved directly between the user and the garage concerned. GetVooma may, at its sole discretion, assist in mediating disputes but is under no obligation to do so. If you have a complaint about the GetVooma platform itself, please contact us using the details below.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any legal proceedings arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify registered users via email or an in-app notification. Your continued use of GetVooma after such notice constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
